The aftermath

A picture is worth a thousand words. And if you look at this picture of Fresno State AD Thomas Boeh as he answers questions from the media about Title IX, gender equity, discrimination complaints, and adding more women's sports you can probably figure out what some of those words are.
The Fresno Bee reports that the university is considering adding new women's sports to equalize the amount of financial aid provided to female student-athletes. The school already offers the maximum amount of scholarships per sport mandated by NCAA so the only option is to add sports. Water polo, rowing, and bowling are all under consideration.
In other news that has come in the aftermath of the Lindy Vivas verdict: state Senator Dean Florez who has been leading the hearings on gender discrimination will visit Fresno State and talk to athletes and coaches; OCR officials have made some recent visits to campus though we don't know exactly why or what they were looking for as Boeh would not provide details of the visits.

FRESNO STATE IS MINOR COMPARED TO THE LACK OF COMPLIANCE IN THE JUCO SYSTEM!

LOOK AT FEATHER RIVER COLLEGE AND THE MESS THEIR PRESIDENT SUSAN CARROLL HAS CAUSED!

THE CALIFORNIA TAXPAYERS WILL PAY FOR SUSAN CARROLL'S ACTIONS- SHE NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE

Get your facts, and your YEARS straight.

The issues that are being argued in the Fresno courts stemming back to 2004 have NOTHING to do with what Fresno State is doing TODAY, and has been on track doing for the past 2 years under Boeh.

Don't shoot the messenger, vast improvemenst have been made, and change takes time and money.

What are or have the women done from WITHIN the system and through booster and other activities to raise dollars for the improvement of their own sport's facilites and other issues?

I have not yet heard a single thing the plaintiffs accomplished from within during their tenure. Seems they went straight to the courts to solve their issues.

This is not some rant against women getting their rights. I got mine from within and never had to file a complaint against a single male.

In fact, most of my opposition was from women who were jealous because they could not figure out how to do it ethically and with integrity.

It's called bridging the communication differences that are a scientifically proven physical brain difference between women and men, and removing emotion from your arguments.
