In a story that sounds like a plot line from Friday Night Lights, a former student has sued her Texas high school over sexual harassment by football players and cheerleaders who for two years called her names like slut and whore and spread stories about her sex life. The student claims that she complained regularly to school officials, but rather than protecting her from harassment the principal said things like, "You really don't move to Texas and mess with their football players and cheerleaders."
